strange !
you can deinterlace the used shots by right-clicking on the shots in your timeline. Then choose “field options”, then choose “always deinterlace”.

A fast solution is to choose a progressive sequence and try to deinterlace the 30i shots with the method below :

Can you describe the movement issues ? Is it jerky, going back and forth, or bit blurry? Normally going from 30/or60 frames to 25 Will result in a (slightly) slowmotion.

Are you very sure they asked for lower field first ? Normally in broadcast or HD it’s upper field field first. The movement issues could be the wrong field order in your endproduct.

In your Bin with your rushes, you can right click a imported clip and choose ‘new sequence from clip’ This Will make a new sequence with the Same settings as the selected clip.
