    Hi,

I want to import IMX625 / 50 footage into premiere 5.5 without transcoding it to another codec first. My export should be IMX50 as well.

    When I import it into a DV-seq I get a yellow bar, and I’m able to export it to IMX625 / 50.
However I cannot choose it from ‘editing mode’ settings when creating a new sequence. And THAT’s what I want.

How can I get this codec into Premiere?
    Mac by the way.

If you can export using IMX625/50, then the codec is already loaded.

Sequences can be created without using presets. In the New Sequence popup, select the Settings tab, set Editing Mode to Custom, and then set the parameters to be compatible with your footage. The settings can be saved as a custom preset, if desired.

In your Bin with your rushes, you can right click a imported clip and choose ‘new sequence from clip’ This Will make a new sequence with the Same settings as the selected clip.
