Hi Rafael
I have rebuilt the RAID, this didnt’ work. Then I moved the data to another Volume and turned the RAID off.
I have trashed prefs and user data. I have exported the XML and rebuilt the project.
The only thing I haven’t done is re-import the footage as I deleted the original footage from the card. (in case of file corruption)
I will run Disk Utility next on the system partition.
thanks for your reply

I am assuming that your question is how do I author for a portrait oriented screen? One way is just to set up the composition in AE to be in portrait mode.edit away until you are finished then export it out to quicktime. in the quicktime pro options you can turn the movie back into landscape and then send it to DVD Studio Pro or whatever DVD app you are using to build the project to disc.
set your monitor up and pop the dvd in and bob’s your uncle!
hope this helps

Hi there
thanks i had another look at it and your right, its fairly straightforward. cost wise i think its best to go with the zaxwerks plugin and the freeform guys have still got the intel version of their plugin in beta anyway.
i couldn’t see from all the tinderbox plugins which one might be suitable to achieve the effect i was looking for.
thanks for your advice, its very much appreciated
