I know I’m responding to an old thread, but I would really like to know if there was a way to duplicate nodes also without having to Grab Still and then Copy/Paste.

Thanks, Peter. I read the config guide prior, but I know I’m working with a less-than-optimal slot setup with the Mac Pro at work (and getting a PCI extender is most likely out of the question at this time). 🙂

It looks like I spoke too soon. The ProApps update on my home system that I’ve mentioned before seems unaffected. I exported some FCP projects to x264 as I usually do and I haven’t seen any problems post-update.

For others the mileage may vary but I haven’t run into any issues actually. Not sure what was going on with my system before but everything seems okay right now.

Correction, the Mac at work is also running 10.7.2 and NOT 10.6.8 as I initially stated. Running FCS Suite 3/FCP 7.0.3 though.

I keep my Home Mac pretty clean, so doing a re install wouldn’t be a big deal for me. Though I am just about to start a new project so I’m glad I found issues now rather than later.

I must have installed this update at home. I checked last night for my versions on my Home Mac Pro

OS X 10.7.2 and Final Cut Pro 7.0.3

I’m not sure if this is directly related but: now Qmaster / Compressor doesn’t even list “This Computer” nor will it render. I also receive an error that qmasterd isn’t running, and I can’t even stop the service or restart it.

I checked on the Apple Discussion Forums but might not have done enough digging. I might have to re install the Suite or do an OS wipe and re install everything. Argh!

Kevin, I am running the same versions on my Mac system at work. Have you or has anyone performed this update smoothly along with FCS3?
