Thanks Ed and Steve for your responses. This should put me back on track. This forum is an invaluable tool.

    Steve,
I know it was working in v7. Since i bought into version 8 and since i cant use anything i do on 8 in version 7 i’m working full time in V8 pro now. It’s really slowing me down. I wish they would put that back in or reveal the switch that restores that functionality like so many other things that can be switched on ad off in Vegas.

    Thanks Douglas
Can i make edible mask out of the png file so it can be animated with keyframes like a mask in Vegas. I want to draw an arrow(big wide arrow not just a line) then have it stretch and expand for various events in this project i’m working on. I know i can get the animation done in Vegas but I’d like to start with a nice uniform and symmetrical arrow. I’m having a hard time drawing a uniform arrow with the Mask tool.

Yes CS3, I’ll look up some tutorials. Sounds like the tweening is what i need because the arrows need to change scale in some cases.

    George,
Based on some info I got from the Broadcast forum, what would be the downside of using cellphones with headsets. I found regular headsets with boom mic and wired adapter at Radio Shack. My wife and I have same cell plan so there is no minute charges. Three way calling is no extra in my plan. I know there is something wrong with this but I haven’t thought of it yet. Maybe interference in the building or something. Talk and battery time on my phone is five hours. Go ahead tell me whats wrong…but be gentle.

    Rob,
Thanks for this information. I’m just the kind of guy who would try this. Not for the expense as much as for the craft of it. I was of the mind that there should be something one could do with cordless phones. I’ll test this out.

    Thanks George,
Thats just the input I need to get started.I’ll check into both of those systems. By the way what are some wired systems. I may have to look into wired because all the venues I have worked at lay the wire. Again Thanks.
