Yeah, was just looking at that…thanks! I’ve got a basic version so should be able to save just a little on the upgrade.

I think I may just have to track down the original creator and get some new QTs.

I’ve tried downloading various codecs. Opened them in QT, Final Cut, After Effects, MPEG Streamclip, VLC…nothing reads any audio.

    Animation, Apple Lossless

The apple lossless surprised me…doesn’t seem like I would need an avid codec for that?

    I’ve tried both 7 and X.

The guy who made the QTs specifically mentioned DNx145 and Meridian. When I look in the the Quicktime folder in my hard drive library I see a bunch of Avid codecs now but not those two. Are these available in a different package?

    Thanks for the help!

Yeah I downloaded that but am still only getting video with no audio when I open the QTs.

Weird…can’t seem to figure this one out!

I also have 8GB but didn’t have multiprocessing checked on.

I did have OpenGL-Interactive checked…I’ll try turning it off and see if that solves the problem.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the tips guys! The pixel compensation worked perfectly…so simple. 🙂

Interesting comment on exporting to Animation. Has there been issues with rendering to DVCPROHD directly from AE?

Now on to the hard part…trying to pull a good matte w/footage shot on a shadowy cloth greenscreen! Any magic secrets there??? 🙂

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

I have FC 6.0.6. I tried installing Andy’s Guides but for some reason it won’t work for me. Put it in the right folder, restarted FC…his other plug-ins are working but not “Guides”. I might have to manually create it in photoshop, in which case I determined 1440×1080 is the appropriate size for 4×3. Is this correct?

Just to be clear, the final file I will provide for this will be 1920×1080 HD right? Just everything moved in to fit within a 4×3 guideline?

    Thanks!
