    Hello,

I cut a :15 spot for movie theaters that is shot at 1920×1080. The client has asked for the final deliverable as a WMV. Is it possible to make WMVs at 1920×1090? I’ve tried exporting out of FCP, QT, MPEG Streamclip and they all tell me it’s not possible at this size.

    Any help?

    Thanks!

    What is a WMV….?

HA! Just yanking your chain…. You need FlipForMac PRO (i think $99) it allows HD encoding to WMV from QT7 and I think even FCP7

    Hope this helps,

Indeed. Why would anyone want WMV 😛

By the way. Don’t judge and test your Mac created WMV on a Mac.
Test in on Windows. that’s where it belongs.. 😛

Also WMV is actually optimized for 1280 x 720 frame size. Anything above that and I have had mixed results. 1280 always plays and looks great.

ProRes or H264 is better at this frame size.
