digital heaven has a cool plugin that does TV on, off, static for FCP…not sure if they have one for AE though but worth checking out.

hmm..i’m not sure how to make that work. here’s how my project is structured (see the link for snap shot)

    – main comp has the main photo album with the indivual pages as pre-comps. this has the 1st camera that moves around the album while it opens up than zooms into the picture
    – indivual page pre-comp has the PSD files also as a pre-comp
    – the picture/PSD pre-comp has the camera that i use once it zooms in to the picture

so with this said/shown, how can i do what your trying to tell me to do? maybe the whole structure of my projct is wacky…

    thanks for the help!

    Depth of f. is off.

so how come with the Collaps Trans. button on, its blurry and with it off, its clear? is it somethign to do with the fact that its in a pre-comp? let me know if anyone needs more screen shot of anything…this I can do easily!

I have best quality on both viewers.

also, have the Collaps T. button on. that switch actually makes it blurry. the following are screen shots. 1st is a shot with Collaps T. button on. second is the timeline, and the 3rd is the same shot with the Collaps T. button off.

I would leave the button off but than the pictures along with other elements on that page/pre-com gets all out of wack.

oh…i got ya.duh… I don’t know why i didn’t try that….I just got done watching the “seriouse effects & compositing” video and figured tracking would be so easy…like it seem on the video! i knew there was some easy way….dang i actually did it another hard way by doing a Luma matt with the billboard but now the video bleeds through the grey frame. I will try the easy way now!

    thanks!
