So FC Studio 2 upgrade will overwrite ALL of the FC Studio 1 application files and preferences?

I should have been more clear.
I don’t want to keep FC Studio 1 on the system, I only want the cleanest install of FC Studio 2.

These files are from version 6 of Media 100.
I’ll try Producer sw and see if it can export as a Quicktime.
    Thanks for the help.

I want to take Media 100 video files I digitized, that I cannot re-digitize, and edit the video within FCP 6.
It’s my understanding that the Media 100 codec is not directly playable as a Quicktime file. I’ve not been able to play these files as if they are Quicktime files.

So Bob Zelin, is it alway that easy with you and SATA?
I’ve been trying for the last month to get a new 4EP to work with a new Fusion 500P loaded with 5 new Seagate 7200.10 500GB drives.
I can raid the drives and copy one or twice within the raid. Then the entire Mac locks up.
OSX is erased and reinstalled. All the drivers are the latest.
Sonnet tech support has been useless.
    Any ideas, Bob?

  • In addition to the Sonnet 4EP, I have a Decklink Extreme and the stock Quad G5 video card.

Do you still have the link to the Sony PVM 1954Q manual? I could not find it in these threads.

    Thanks.
