Still a mysterious case. I converted this clip to avi with gopro studio – same case. Finally I took this short clip that was rendered correctly and placed onto a full length clip and rendered then – still the same block-pixeled result. I forgot to delete this place from full length movie, but as I placed my short clip onto the full length video track on timeline, it should be fine? Will give a last try when I got time for rendering again..

That’s nice tip for workflow 🙂 Thanks for that, but the bad quality problem remains. Just like on the 2 sample youtube videos I gave. Rendering a short loop region – its okay. Rendering entire 7 minutes project, this clip stays in a bad quality (see video at 1.06min to 1.36min.)

Aah I did understand now, why I only needed to drag into the end or beginning, my media was overlapped.
When I uncheck the automatical overlapping from properties and drop my media into timeline, my media is not overlapped, but when I select them all and add fade to black transition, my media goes from 4.00 sec to 4.23 sec and gets kinda overlapped, but dissolve works just perfect. When I got some space between my media, then I have to add transition both, in the beginning and end, and media will stay 4.00 sec.
Maybe that’s how it supposed to be or thats what Aleksey tried to tell me, my english isnt brilliant, but anyways I got the things working for me and I think its a great way to easily great solid slideshow in Vegas!

I got it as I wanted with Dissolve (Fade Through black) transition, as Chris described here: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/24/893457
Only difference was, that I did not need to drop the transition to start and end of media, when I dropped it in one of them, for examle when I dragged this transition into the beginning of 1 media amongst many selected with selection tool on timeline, the transition applied in the beginning and end of each image. Chris described dragging the transition into the beginning and end both.

I believe it might look weird 🙂 Its a sport camera and so the higher fps the better, my camera also has a picture mode to take picture in every 1 or 2 seconds(called timelaps i believe?). So I had some pictures of cardrive to a campsite and few videos of the same drive, And it set the pictures with length 0.145second and got pretty cool clip that way, but I didnt have very much those images, so I thought to make video look like similar.

It seems that 0.100 is the minimum?
My footage is 50 fps, so it gives me 5 fps, but I cant set is smaller, it just goes back to 0.100.

Okey, thanks for your reply. What do you reccomended instead of AVC for HD video?
I actually have a bit problems while editing, too choppy preview. Im thinking of rendering the source to some less compressed format before editing, what would you reccomended for that?

Sorry for so late response, but thanks! My project aspect ratio was totally different.
Got it working now. But somehow I still manage to get text cutted off if I play too much with pan/crop on text media.
I resized that “F-thing” so much that it turned itself around,so on video text first is zoomed in and wasnt on the screen anymore and then comes back(like zoomed out effect). But when coming back there are cutted off sides.

I am sorry im just beginner in video editing. I got my main problem solved now, but what am I doing wrong or why are the sides cutted off when i play with pan/crop that much? How to do it correctly?
