vegas settings for GoPro

sorry to ask such thing, but I am a bit troubled while choosing my project and rendering settings for camera I havent used before.

Should I change something, I did all I could to match the input and output settings, but I dont understand all these terms and stuff very well. My output is for watching in pc,youtube or tv, just for own and friends.In rendering settings there is “number of reference frames” which I put on 4, in output I think its 3, if this is the same thing at all, sry.
And one thing I did not know that to do, USE DEBLOCKING FILTER? At moment it is not selected.Under Project Settings there is deinterlacing method: Blend fields (selected). Should I change this?

You project settings should match your source which is 1920×1080 HD. You render settings should match whatever delivery format you are using. You should not expect to render back to your cameras format. Those days are long gone because cameras these days use formats that are optimized for capture and not necessarily playback/delivery.
If you want to render to AVC use the Sony AVC or MainConcept AVC formats with one of the Internet templates.

Okey, thanks for your reply. What do you reccomended instead of AVC for HD video?
I actually have a bit problems while editing, too choppy preview. Im thinking of rendering the source to some less compressed format before editing, what would you reccomended for that?

I would recommend either HDV or XDCAM. HDV MPEG2 should be the easiest HD format to edit. Even an old Dual Core PC should be able to handle it without any problems.
