But isn’t that the other problem? The audio all gets bladed to shreds anyway. Ideally we have to expand all audio components and then drag the ones we are using back along the timeline to get rod of them and I suppose disable those we don’t want to use. or has this been fixed?

Here is a screenshot. Actually I don’t know if this was just for the benefit of Yosemite Beta testers or everyone…probably my bad. Sorry if that’s the case.

Not that I’ve noticed to be honest. I just blindly downloaded it and the system seems a little more stable now. Also just downloaded 10.10 Beta. First two iterations I had were just called Beta (somewhat unstable) and Beta 2. I think it must be nearly ready to ship. FCP7 still “seems” to run okay also by the way but I have not been using it in anger so don’t take my word for it.

I’ve had some success taking a bit of an angle and applying stabilise to just that section. It is a bit annoying not being able to apply stabilise to shots within the Multicam project.

Correction. Since Pro Apps update it has started working fine. That or trashing prefs twice or a combination of the two.

Did you download the Pro Apps codec update?

I did and today I have had cataclysmic problems. Mostly sorted now by deleting and reinstalling FCPX and then I moved the Library to my skeet and it opened okay. (weird workflow I know). Then when it opened I quit the app and put the Library back where it should have been, copied it to another drive and opened up.
