Select all forward
I still mis this tool. I understand Gaps helps out for pushing things along but what if you want to select everything forward of a certain point but what quick way of selecting everything forward if you want adjust volume for example?
Yes I can Shift select in the Timeline Index but it’s a bit convoluted. Any thoughts?

Lasso or Timeline Index are pretty much all you’ve got to work with.

Seems like for the times that I use it now, TL Index isn’t too many clicks. I think I used Select Forward far more often in Legacy, where the advantage of using a mag TL wasn’t available. As I recall, I usually used s/f to open up a gap in Legacy, or paste attributes. Much faster using a gap clip or clip searches in the index.

Gotta agree with Bob. But you made a good point about audio, however I never used it for that. I don’t even use a gap clip usually, because usually at the point I want to move things forward there’s already a clip in the primary I can drag out. Then use the P tool and drag it back. No better or worse than legacy, just different. But actually, probably less prone to error. If you miss something in legacy or a clip gets deselected, etc. then you may not notice till it’s all screwed up.
Why is it nobody ever misses “select all backward”? It just gets no love.
