try this:
1. open the problematic library
2. create a new library
3. drag the desired project from the problematic library to an event in the new library
4. can the project in the new library be exported?

Just curious what frame rate you are shooting? Did you try it out with MOVs vs MP4s?

I was wondering if your GoPro Hero 3+ was updated to the latest firmware? I heard about some issues with early firmware on that model.

Does anybody know if it is possible to keep the old clip naming system of date and time?

Yes, you can still get the names in FCPX to use the older method. Now it keeps the original camera filename instead.

It’s: Modify -> Apply Custom Name -> Clip Date/Time.

(The camera filename will remain however the camera named it but the clip within X will change to those settings.)
