I am guessing it is trying to open the .mxfindex and failing. My FS7 shots don’t have that file, but I also tend to select the MXF to import it. In this case, you may have to too.
ccConvert will extract the embedded 708 directly to an MCC with no change in the captions themselves (e.g. the 708 packets will be extracted from the ProRes and written directly to the MCC).
This would me more for getting them into Premiere to edit them and output them as captions in the output file. You can select ‘Burn in captions’ in the output dialog, but I don’t think it will put the black box around them, but I am not sure
It is compatible with 2015, but I mis read your post. We have DV100 for MXF Op1a/P2/etc. For MOV DV100, I am getting that setting directly in Premiere without our plugin.
Are you not seeing that option in your installation?
