Import (or ama link) to mxf file doesn’t work
Hello,
I received mxf files with the following codec: H264 – MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (h264) and I can’t do anything with it but watch it with vlc player.
I already tried several methods avid (8.5.2) offers me, I tried adobe premier, adobe encoder, sorenson squeeze… They all say it’s not supported….
Any ideas on how I can work with those file?

Hi Corinna
You could try the MediaReactor Workstation plugins for Avid. They support a large number of h.264 8 and 10 bit encodes in MXF OP1a, AS-02 and OP-Atom.
The trial mode is limited to 10 seconds, but there is a temporary full feature trial license available
