No, but I found the direct website a nightmare to try and use. On my computer a least, it seemed to be constantly refreshing and I wasn’t able to input my selectiosn

Yes, like to buy from BH and that’s the only configuration they have… even in a “turnkey” app.
Seemed odd that they would be basing a turnkey on an unsupported device.

Sure, thanks for the suggestion and that’s certainly a that’s always a possibility, but the reason I’m going with the Dslr is to get a different look than my previous videos so it would defeat the purpose.

Thanks, I was looking at that but I keep seeing references to an “orange screen” when used with the stand alone PPCS4 (I don’t have After Effects) so I’m a little leery of it.

To me the LCD is just like the EVF on my video cameras, simply there for framing etc.
But I’m not sure that means the camera can’t do run and gun. After all, what did folks do before they even had LCD’S?

Once you get the proper exposure for a given condition, it should remain pretty constant.

Thanks, my needs, on a daily basis anyway, are pretty much meat and potatoes editing, where “no-error” speed is essential and I’m finding the small single monitor a real handicap.
    Thanks for the tips.

Yes, thanks for the tip… I’m hoping that’ll allow me to at least work with a bigger timeline.

That’s what some of the guys are talking about, we’ve still got one or two from the desk tops, but that’s down the road if ever.

And in anycase, the whole point of going with laptops was for the portability and a lot
of our editing is in the field in various locations and vehicles where a second monitor would not be available.
