30fps slo mo possible?
When I’ve needed to slo-mo horse racing with my video cameras, I’d shoot the project at 60i and jack up the shutter speed slightly.
This year I’m going to go with a D7000 but it won’t give me 60fps, only 24 and 30.
Any software options out there to give me decent slo-mo at 30fps.
Street scenes of folks on foot slightly slowed down in PPCS4 look ok to me but the are not as demanding as spending horses.

Thanks, I was looking at that but I keep seeing references to an “orange screen” when used with the stand alone PPCS4 (I don’t have After Effects) so I’m a little leery of it.

one option that you have is to shoot a 1/1000 shutter and then once you’ve ingested the footage export 30fps to 90fps and you could bring into AE and use timewarp to slow mo. Ive often had good results doing that.

Sure, thanks for the suggestion and that’s certainly a that’s always a possibility, but the reason I’m going with the Dslr is to get a different look than my previous videos so it would defeat the purpose.
