Thank you for your response. Can you recommend any programs that automate audio levels and pans?

The movie is a half hour long. So, it should fit on to a 32 GIG Card.

Our quicktime movies are recorded with 6-tracks of audio through AJA’s VTR Exchange. Then I edit them in FCP with the track order I listed.
I then export each track as it’s own quicktime movie. So, I’ll have quicktime movies named like:
SHOW1_L
SHOW1_R
SHOW1_C
SHOW1_LFE
SHOW1_Ls
SHOW1_RsThen I drag those to the compressor pallet

Hi Arnie,
Thank you for your insight. Could you take a look at this PDF document of screen grabs and let me know if it provides you with any new insights into the problem? :
https://rcpt.yousendit.com/588753627/0e0d40313d2ad 111ec0d35ef080fe04c
As you can see, Log and Transfer is saying that the footage is 1080p24. Log and Transfer indicates that it is transcoding from “DVCPRO HD 1080i60” to “DVCPRO HD 1080i60″ with Vid rate of 29.97 and a 2:3 pulldown. You will also see that in the Browser of Final Cut the footage is listed as being DVCPROHD 1080p30 not 1080 60i
Also, does an external monitor remove pulldown? I don’t understand. I have Sony LMD-2450WHD WUXGA 24”. The video looks fine when it plays through the monitor, but it has two still frames. I need this to be correct for Final output. The way it looks on my monitor isn’t as important.
I appreciate any further thoughts you have to offer.
Thank you.

The program won’t even open from the Applications folder. It won’t open in any of the users accounts.

Sorry for the delay.
This didn’t fix the problem.

Thanks, I’ll find the codec and post again if I run into more issues. Although, if the hard drive isn’t fast enough, I don’t think I will have any feasible options to correct it.

July 17, 2006 at 2:01 pm in reply to: FCP Geniuses! I need a FCP savior! Frame Rate problemI got cinematize to work. Now every fourth frame looks like this in FCP:
(this is a link to download a still JPEG of a screen capture)
https://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=4A5B26EC15D2888BAfter I run it through cinema tools, do I need to “Remove the Pulldown” in FCP?
If someone would be willing to download this small clip I uploaded and see if they can get to play correctly in Final Cut Pro, I think we could solve this problem. Here’s the link to the clip. If you figure it out, please post or e-mail me the steps I need to take.

July 16, 2006 at 11:52 pm in reply to: FCP Geniuses! I need a FCP savior! Frame Rate problemOK, i got Cinema Tools to Reverse Teceline. I brought the file into Final Cut Pro and this is what I get every forth frame:

Is there something I forgot to do or need to do? These are the same results I got back when I tested reverse telecine with various settings.
If someone could download my clip and see if they can get to work right, that would be awesome.
Thanks,
Jack
