June 21, 2019 at 4:56 pm in reply to: VEGAS pro 16 over 16 hours to render only a 1080P movie?I have thought of that there must be some sort of catch but after viewing and watching large sections of the two 1H and 50 minute films It looks like its absolutely perfect 1080P quality all through, what in particular would I have to watch out for? It seems the frame rate, the quality and sound are all flawless

But I’m sorry I have never used scripting before, I right clicked and downloaded your script and put it into My computer-program files-sony-vegas13-scripting menu, and restarted Vegas 13 and when I opened it again I seen your scrip in the tools-scripting menu and I got an error message, you mentioned I have to modify it so I can work with 13, how would I go about doing that?

July 8, 2017 at 3:40 pm in reply to: Is it possible to change the frame rate of every single clip on the timeline to be just one specific frame rate?I should have explained a bit better actually, if I right click on the clips that are 29 frames a second and go “properties” I’ll see that it says “Undersample rate = 1.000, 29 frames.
If I right click on the clips that are 59 frames and go properties I see that it says “Undersample rate 1.000 and 59 frames per second, I notice if I change the undersample rate 1.000 to 0.500 it will become a 29.97 frame clip! Which is exactly what I need! You guys really don’t think there is a way to apply this to the entire timeline? I’m starting to think there might not be now actually because the 59 frame clips would have to be 0.500 and the clips that are already 29 frames are set to 1.000, so I have to set it to one or the other, the program probably won’t know which ones are which.
If that is the case oh well! I’ll just have to manually go through it which isn’t the end of the world! BTW I’ve been working on this film for 7 years now once it’s done I can show you guys on youtube if you are curious lol thanks for the help guys ! 🙂

July 7, 2017 at 3:24 pm in reply to: Weird issue: Sony vegas preview freezing after split.Vegas always has trouble playing footage back, no matter what kind of computer I had, Apple, Windows, all version of it just cannot play the timeline back 100% smoothly in pretty much any case in my experience, I NEVER play footage back in “Best” quality as it just glitches like crazy like yours, I don’t even question it anymore I just have it always on “preview” quality, and even then I still get lags like you do and I will have to just keep playing it over and over again until it starts to play back smoothly.
I even had Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro and I remember those programs never lagged while playing video back, I remember it being smooth and perfect all the time, I guess Vegas lacks in this area from how it was built

July 7, 2017 at 3:55 am in reply to: Is it possible to change the frame rate of every single clip on the timeline to be just one specific frame rate?Nope does not work! There are blurry frames in all the clips that are 59 frames! The 29 looks great like it should but like I said manually changing all the 59 frames a second clips is out of the question, this is a full length 1 hour and 20 minute film! Random clips are 59 and some are 29! Can I just change them all to 29 at the same time? Thanks for the suggestions though

Try rendering in just a MP4 1080P template?
Usually when my rendering fails the only solution for me was to render it out a different format

Thank you and yes I will be sure to do that!
I will keep that in mind and once i’m ready to upgrade I will have an open mind when getting the latest version, perhaps I’ll do a system restore from scratch and start with the new vegas on a fresh PC, maybe that will work out better next time
