No, nesting is not required. As per the setup described in your initial post, use the Multi-Camera Monitor to see Track 1 while the Program Monitor displays Track 2.

The “even in After Effects” comment is surprising. What codec is the source footage, and what effects were applied? Some screen captures would be helpful.
If the issue is purely related to QuickTime playback of H.264 files, you could render using Sorenson or SV3 at full quality and without limiting bitrate. Alternatively, you might be able to play a 720p ProRes or DNxHD file in real time depending on hardware capability.

Your Mac computers might be using the QuickTime engine to play the video. It looks fine in IE and Chrome on my PCs.

Frame 1480:
– Composite Video

– WhiteIt is important to compare files in Premiere Pro, and preferably using the scopes for reference.

It is understood that you were referring to different images on the bottom of different posts. The part that is inconsistent is whether the Vimeo image was clean or washed out.

Please clarify. Your previous comment stated that the clean (bottom) image is from Vimeo:
[Chris Shaw] “The top image is from Premiere and the bottom is in Vimeo.”
If the Vimeo image is clean and the H.264 file in WMP is clean, then this is simply a case of QuickTime H.264 color shift. The Animation file will look OK in QuickTime because the issue only occurs with H.264 files.
