Once you remove those pins, you remove the scripting, so it won’t keep it’s position. I don’t think there is a way to bake the pins. Try “save frame as” with an alpha channel on your pinned character and then import image as a layer.

I suggest designing the character in PS or AI in the position you want, or look up rigging tutorials. Puppet pin tool doesn’t always give you the cleanest bends, so that’s one way to ensure the best quality.

Not sure about scripts, but Photoshop folders will import as comps in AE. So if you put all those files from the comps into folders in PS, you should get what you want automatically.

    Hope that helps!

First off, have you tried going to File > Export > Layers to Files ?

It’ll prompt you and ask you what kind of file you want and where to export it. Then when you go to import into After Effects, select all the files you wish to import and the click “import as sequence”. I believe that’ll get you what you’re looking for.

Why not try doing all your adjustments and color corrections in After Effects instead? It’s an easier workflow for me, personally.

    Hope that helps
