It could be your drives and where the video was captured. If some of the video was captured toward the outside of the spindle (you said your drives were 70% full it is possible that you would get some stutter.

  • That will not work. I have had this issue before and unless someone has a better answer I wind up having to go through all of the footage and move it back the amount desired. The other thing is doing a find in the timeline for the specific clip and then slipping it back the amount you want.

Try using render manager to delete all of the render files.

I do not believe that you can Multiclip a sequence but if you have them all lined up you can export them as such and then re import them and multiclip away. Additionally, multiclip can be very, very frustrating especially with dropouts and what not. I have spent days getting things synched with 8-12 cameras. If you need more help, post back

Thanks for clearing that up there. However, if there is just a 24 frames instead of a 24.976, why is there a 29.97 and a 30?

So I am in compressor but the only options for the DV NTSC anamorphic conversion are 24 frames, no 23.98. I am assuming I am doing something wrong as when I look at the original footage in the inspector it tells me it is 23.976.

I am aware of this setting/feature in compressor. I just want to make sure it will preserve the film like look/frame rate. Will it or will I have to select the appropriate frame rate?
