most importantly have you set the capture settings to anamorphic? if not , do so and recapture.
also be sure to have project and sequence settings set to anamorphic.

seems to be true however without setting the jumpers to the 150 MBs location it definitively chocked my computer. After setting the jumpers it is all well.
I thought that it would not make a diffrence and that it woud just default to 150MBs.

Yes I thought so.
G5s only have two drive bays ( who knows who thought of that brilliant design?) I will need a RAID card and RAID array. So far the second SATA 300 drive is proving to be very fast for editing.

what is the configuration of your G5, RAM? Additional drives? Drive type? SATA? SATA 300?
are you editing with an external drive? USB? FW 400? 800?
