WD 500 GB Caviar Drive compatibility
Does anyone know if the WD 500 GIG SATA 300 drive is compatible with a Dual 2.7 GHz G5?

The only SATA drives that I know of that aren’t compatible with your system are dead ones.
You’ll want to format the drive using disc utility, but other than that, you should be good to go.

seems to be true however without setting the jumpers to the 150 MBs location it definitively chocked my computer. After setting the jumpers it is all well.
I thought that it would not make a diffrence and that it woud just default to 150MBs.
