    Have you tried using After Effects? You can import your .MOV into AE and apply most of Photoshop’s filters there.

    You can try the roughen effect if you want to stay totally vector. effect–>distort & transform–>roughen

    Is the PSD image embedded in your AI or linked? Have you tried one over the other?

    I typically use PNG; the format is very clean with respect to hard edges unlike JPEG and is usaully quite small (byte-wise). Hope this helps!

    When I import an AI file as a comp with cropped layers, After Effects generates a Comp and a folder with my AI layers within it. My problem is this; If I want to replace the AI layers I must select each individual layer and replace manually, if I have 25 layers this proves to be a bit tedious. I want to know if there is a way to replace all in one shot.
