it’s not stupid. I use a wacom tablet for everything and going to that effects menu to type stuff every time I want an effect would drive me bananas.

Vishesh is wrong!!!….just kidding his way is probably better. I like to have control of the mask I use which is why I would probably draw my mask/path then use the stroke effect.

No way. Use a path then use “stroke” and use the path then set it to reveal image.

or stay at 24 finish the job then render and then time remap the quicktime.

Darby is right….keep you particle layer 2D. As long as you have tracked the position and use a light as an emitter you should not have any issues. (you do need a camera in there)

At almost 1k. Why would you ever want to pay for Silhouette FX. Mocha is rock solid and it is part of AE.

This will happen always. I always try to precomp my text layers first. John is right.

Mocha is a program developed by Imagineer Systems. It is bundled with adobe after effects since version CS4 (if my memory does not fail) It uses planar tracking technology instead of the standard point trackers.
It greatly simplifies roto work.
