Changing multiple Comp/Precomp settings
Posted by Jake Green on January 18, 2013 at 12:52 amHello,
Just wondering if there is a way of changing multiple Comp and Precomp settings within a project without having to go through every one manually? I wish to change all the comps sizes, frame rates and pixel aspect ratios, so that they are all the same.
Here’s hoping in advance,Jolyon.

January 18, 2013 at 1:56 amI’m a big fan of Christopher Green’s “Selected Comps Changer.jsx” script [link]. My favorite feature is that it offers an option for extending active layers at the end of a comp when you change the comp’s duration.
He’s got a bunch of immensely useful scripts there — if they help you out, please consider supporting his work via his Donate button.

March 19, 2014 at 7:46 pmI always used CompSetter up until CS6 and worked fine every time, I mostly used it only to extend the duration of the composition and the nested ones. Today I tried it in CC and found out that it’s not extending all the layers in the comp and none of the nested comps.
Anyone has experienced this? Is it related to CC?Thanks.
