Control K if you never change in customization. To un-cut underneath tracks, the only way I have found is locking the tracks. (look at a lock icon at extreme left of the timeline.
Remember you can custom-built the keyboard the better suit your workflow
Mine is: Z to make cuts, X to riple delete,C page down, D default video transition, Control D default audio xsition With left hand I can control this commands while with right move the mouse. Fast way to me!

Seems everyone is confused. Of course you can see the timeline out from the svhs output. Just right click the desktop> properties> settings> advance and select your video card tap (Ge 7800 in your case)click nview and select clone… voila. You have TV output.
Remember you have to have a video card; not the svhs output from media center purpose. To verify this you have to have 2 SVHS outputs in the rear of the PC.

The way Steven say is a remedy…not a cure. We need this “most wanted” feature in next revisions. Same as align a clip with the TLI (red cursor). Just select the clip, hit tap and presto.

That means that all people will throw all computers to the trash??? Or the developers have to deal with the actual computer power?.
That means that dual processors AMD or Pentium will not work with HD?
    I don’t understand.
ALl techs I have asked to help me to select the best processor brand, all coincided in AMD.

Anyway, today I bought a HP media center with 4200+ AMD Athlon 64 dual core(3.6 pentium equiv.) 1gig ram, 250 hd and all whisles media center have… with a 19″ LCD monitor for just $1000

If a same HP machine but 3.4+ is working without hazle with PP2 then I suppose this will perform the same or better……….
Will lets you know how it works in the next days
    Thanks for all.

Humm, interesting. I presently have less power in a Athlon 64, 1gig ram Pc and PP2 works flawlessly.
The botton line question is: Does PP2 utilize Intel or AMD dual processor power??

Will like to know before purchase… I rarely use After Affects.
    Thanks for any advise

Is in effects control tap… and if are many photos, I don’t recommend PP. Its not an easy task… Canopus “Imaginate ” is far better and easy to manipulate photos in all axis and it comes with templates.

Thanks for your answer. Very informative!
Well my PS is a HP Mediacenter. It have a capture card. I never had a problem with PP1.5 .

I forgot to mention that I deleted PP1.5 a couple of weeks ago. Since that last capture was problematic and this one was impossible.
I reinstalled 1.5 back and now I can capture in PP2 or 1.5. Very weird!
Could be a common driver was deleted.
Now I have to keep 1.5 in my PC due to this…unless someone find a solution.

    Thanks

  • Do yourself a favor. Get Encore and use it to burn your discs.
Forget about bitrates and back & forth rendering. Export your TLine as a avi file.
Encore 1.5 is very easy to learn and automatically take care about mpeg encoding. But beware of certain tutorials… it seems like is Encore is impossible to learn… in real life is 1,2,3.
