For what its worth… My Sony connection said no 2/3 inch this NAB… It would be great if he is wrong or not telling all, but he said yes to some unexpected (but not HUGE) announcements related to the existing product line. I took this as a hint to other gear, or dual layer disc… but it could be as cool as 50mbs and 4:2:2…. Guess we’ll see soon enough.

As far as the demo went – I’m hoping to get some nice A/B tests with the Canon HD lens vs. a 2/3 SD lens – see just how soft it is…

Try quitting other apps. How much RAM do you have – could probably use more..? That is not a tiny file… the beachball is the app ‘thinking’.
