Peter: I have been editing hdv footage(sony fx1) on the edius hdv nx windows system since march 2005.. and have been impressed. I am an apple fcp and adobe 1.5 with aspect user also.
I very seldom use them anymore.
WRAL a station in Raleigh NC is installing Edius Broadcast editing systems in the news gathering division.
When my new HVX 200 arrives I will upgrade to Edius Broadcast $499.00
and keep on earning the not so almighty $
