If you consider that your 15 GB file needs to be compressed to around 4 GB to fit on a DVD, you can imagine you lose about 75% of the info in the file, thus reduction in quality. Adjust your compression settings to fit on a DVD. You could use a bitrate calculator to make it fit.

Then TClark is probably right. Your configuration is likely confused by having Roxio or similar software installed. Either do a search for the registry fixes or use Mike’s suggestion.

I’m baffled. Both of my burners are recognized and burning is enabled, although I prefer to export to Encore and author from there. You wouldn’t be running XP64 or Vista would you?

Using the trial version? That does not support MPEG, you need the full version for that.

Sorry, but I don’t understand what you want to do or achieve. You can use Grafitti as an effect on any clip and in the composite window it will show the background as in my previous post. If you have multiple tracks with different opacity showing as one background, use a nested sequence and apply the Grafitti effect to that. If this does not meet your wishes, please explain what you want to achieve.

Did you know that you can have more than ONE audio track, that you can import files and put then on separate tracks, etc. These are such very, very basic questions, that I suggest you start reading the manual and follow some training or read some tutorials on the basics of NLE.
