ok thats interesting. Because I’m in Australia with 240v and its an american 110 volt monitor. So there is the power converter for it.
I’ll look into that as well as a source of problems. Cheers

    haha…your probably right.
I suppose I was thinking that as parts are probably no longer made maybe its a gonner. But yeah, I’ll find a guy to take it too see what he says. Really hope its not going to cost an arm and a leg.
Its also a bit soft on the picture as well. Needs some TLC.

thanks guys, I’ll have a crack at it and see how I go. But I have to say Dan scares the pants off me with his expressions. My ability ends at the pickwhip. I have tried to understand but it reminds me of being in maths class again back at school all those years ago…just got no idea.

BUT I give it a go!

still no luck. Have restarted as well, have used video monitoring via blackmagic card and firewire. Again both play on the monitor just not in the canvas window.

    sorry don’t agree.
If that was the case nothing ever gets any better. Experimenting on any level of a creative process is a must in my opinion. I don’t ‘experiment on their time’, but if its in my budget to look at a few ways to expand what I have to ofer then great. If you communicate to the client well all the way through then setbacks are easily overcome. And they don’t freak out.

I might have overstated slightly that I ‘promised the world’ said more out of frustration, but there you go, I’ll now just have to find a guy to animate a lightwave spaceship.

(I tested invigorator with a simple 3d UFO which worked beautifully, but the model that we bought didn’t work)

Thankyou for your detailed response Lars. Thats good news. I am up against it with time. And little bit worried that I promised the world but can’t deliver. I want to keep it simple. Literally a few shots of a ship miving along a straight path in a 3d space. I can make do without complex lighting etc. I just need to move a 3d ship.
So I’m off to buy invigorator pro!

One more question, which of the 3d formats would you recommend I hunt out for the spaceship? Which is the most stable and reliable with its integration into invigorator?

    Thanks for your help.

    Yeah thats what I meant….
the “send to” function is what I’ve been using.

Cool, thanks for that. Thought I would have to do it that way. Thats a pity. Is that a bug? or is that a deliberate thing?
