    Thanks for the advise everyone I really appreciate it.

    I’m still a bit unsure about the 7200 rpm hard drive or 5400rpm.

    I will capture to the internal drive at times when on the road for short jobs in HDV.

    Should I go 7200 rpm..help….I’m confused…what will I loose? gain?

    Also how good is the new high res 17″…really worth it for motion? do you notice the gain in res?

    Is it better just to keep as interlaced and export as SD DVD interlaced?

    I know I deinterlace the HDV footage when going to web, QT movies with good results.

    I know my next purchase will be an progressive HD camera instead of interlaced to reduce the risk of problems for a client.

    What do other professionals do to prepare their HDV interlaced footage prior to SD DVD destination?
