I didn’t realize Xpress Pro came in an HD version.
Can’t help with the help menu as I’ve never used it but if your system has corner pinning, you’ll find it by applying a resize or PIP effect and advancing it to 3D.

Not sure what that means, man.
I’d rather em just go ahead and sell so we can gain some sweet tools to bill with. Their current CEO has vast experience with mergers so let’s cross our fingers…

Filter out your c drive. In media creation settings, set your precomputes to your media drives.

Not sure I’m following you. You can use the space bar to stop.
Are you using spectramatte to key?
Color drop the green screen (you are on the top video layer, right?) then tweek the peramters as needed. If you advance it to 3D, you’ll have a little more control over edges, ect.

If spectramatte cant handle it, keylight in AE is wonderful. You can use a simple color key to get rid of most of the bknd then use keylight for the rest (less processing).

  • I’m thinking this was a bad commercial for a bad product by the original poster. One post and it’s a link to a scam site.
Me thinks Charlie is self-pluggin’ badness.

    Great post, Bob.
Avid only sells beta versions now, man. I remember when assurance was such a no brainer it was just part of the deal. Today, should you call at 500 bucks a pop, you get a pimple-faced kid all like “hmmm well, that otta work.”
    yes. yes it should.
I’d like to know which Avid CEO purchased so much stock on Apple.
Nobody sells more copies of FCP today than Avid.

  • doood, I’d run far and fast from that.
Grab a camera and an inexpensive NLE and start creating. If you like, take a few classes at your local jr college. None of this has to break the bank. I leared a long time ago that any promotion that starts with “make money” just wants your money.

Quicktimes with the proper codec will be fine.

The fact is I love my vendor. They rock.
I loved Avid for two decades. It’s when they stopped competing and started lying to their clientele that I got turned off.
3.0 brought bug fixes and introduced new ones.
3.5 tried to fix more bugs and again, introduced new ones.
4.0 was pretty close to a version worthy of a version 1 release.

The fact that I was on MC v4 more than 15 years ago says a lot about their evolution. They bagan taking backward steps at a time everyone else began to run forward. I say sell soon before nobody wants it.
