im getting avid media files on my c drive…media creation is set to filter out network drives… – the c drive is greyed out…it seems to happen on video mixdowns, but with other effects also -any ideas why this is doing this?

Filter out your c drive. In media creation settings, set your precomputes to your media drives.

Media Creation settings are project based. Are you sure these media and render files are from the project you changed the Media creation settings in?

Are you checking to makes sure the C:/ drive is not selected on any of the media creation tabs import, render, etc?

What OS and version of MC are you using?

    Hi,

Have you checked your destination when you render an effect or create a video mixdown that it’s not sending it to the C drive?
