corner pin
Greetings I am trying to do a corner pin effect at my work, however i cant seem to find the corner pin tool. Am working on an AVID Express Pro HD system. Its interesting, i have an 11 year old AVID at my house that is running MC Express, and I can find the corner pin easy.
Also, somebody answer me this; Why is AVIDs “Help” button suck. It doesnt tell you where controls are or how to do something. Its the pits…probably why the powers that be here are changing us over to Premier.

I didn’t realize Xpress Pro came in an HD version.
Can’t help with the help menu as I’ve never used it but if your system has corner pinning, you’ll find it by applying a resize or PIP effect and advancing it to 3D.

GT I have tried this but i cannot find the corner pin effect. I have looked in all of the drop downs in the effect editor and nothing seems to pop out at me. You said IF my system has corner pinning – I swear I have used it before on this system and now I just cant find it . Weird huh. thanks for the reply.

It’s on the right side of your effect menu. You’ll see crop, cornerpin, rotate, scale, ect. They are little icons.
Blow the dust off the ole manual if ya have to. -
