    Absolutely.
I can tell you I applied at CMT as a director when I was 22. I drove from Dallas to Nashville to shake a hand. I knew I was not going to get hired that day as a director but I also knew later, when I came knowcking when ripe, they’d remember my name. That’s exactly how it happened 4 yeras later. You always hear it’s not what ya know it’s who ya know. That’s true as can be. It’s up to you to get to know em.

don’t insult your good interns with lunch. If ya dig em… hire em. If ya don’t, send em home so there is room for somone who wants to impress ya.

Bob, when they tell ya it’s for insurence purposes, simply show em your insurence card. When it comes down to deal or no deal, simply accept full union rates instead of the less than half day rate offered.

Rich kids don’t need to get jobs, they just have to tell their daddy they are looking. That’s the case with this kid. He wanted no job… just wanted to fire off a couple of emails so he didn’t have to lie to daddy.

    lol
laugh like ya thought they were kiddin’ then ask what time call time is.
It’s one thing to shake down actual members… I mean, they pay dues in trade for security so they can halfass it. To try to bleed it from a fella that works for his money though… again, laugh.

I usually just use my FX1 but there are many lipstick cameras and helmetcams to choose from.
You can get wide angle adapters for the fx1 and most liekly for whatever camera ya end up going with. I shoot while driving as part of a show I produce. It’s first person pov is it’s hook. I’ve never rented an extra camera for any part of it… just drivin’ and shootin’

just promote it to 3D and use defocus.
You can also nest effects so they’ll not affect tracks below.

I just the the camera roll. If shooting a model, I reach in. adjust as needed then move my hands out… rolloing the entire time. If wanting a stop motion vibe to live action, shooting accordingly is key. You want imperfections in motion so your talent will have to do that per your direction. Again, I just roll then pull the frames I want.
