you can import a file and position it as needed. No need for marquee. You can do it in title tool or just head to good ole after effects.

    auto config no worky?
try deleting all decks then re add it.

  • well yeah. Like I said, needless precomputes and added time in the seat. Wondering why management wants to mandate such a wacky thing. Should they be the ones pushing the buttons if wanting to be so hands on? To add hours to projects in the name of billing only is suicide waiting to happen, imo.

I in no way think these posts are serious. I mean, I think they were when they posted it all drunk like but I dodn’t think they expeceted the cream of the crop to respond. Bottom feeders are use to eatin’ poop.

In this high band width world, location means less and less. Back in the day, I had to relocate to where the gigs were. Today, very few of my clients are in town.

while I hear ya, man if we only edited projects we believed in, we’d not be booked very often. I’ve had to make bad products good, evangelists come across as caring, and George Bush Jr. honest.
    Just part of the gig.

vimeo is free and allows you to password protect approvals.
I’ve always used my own space but more and more today, I just use vimeo.

  • My personal opinion is it’s quicker and easier to run your output through a compressor. It works fine… and the same way as a software comressor, really. You just apply it, set your attributes and render. That’s my beef with it. Needless precomputes… especially if doing longform.

Creativecow.net is pretty awesome. Vimeo is good too, assuming you are not uploading more than 500 megs a week.
