I apply cheese in the name of creativity but I never go to it when I can’t think of something that looks good.
Being an old linear editor, we are well trained in the art of saying no and making it seem like the client’s idea. Over the years my kooth has faded. A fine example would be just a couple of years ago I was editing for a novice producer (as we all do from time to time) when in the middle of an ok piece he busts out with a “ooo can you do a page turn??!”
I laughed and said something like “the capability is here but the possibility is not.”

In the name of nostalgia, again I do love cheezy wipes but when a producer wants to fill the show with the full library of uselessness, I now get frustrated and wrap it up early.
I’d like to think my worst edits are behind me. -
Cold-calling is your best bet. MOst want rating numbers before sponsoring a show but you will find with your sales efforts that some will indeed invest in an idea they like. You’ll have to offer an incentive that locks them in at a low price once it goes big. This is what will talk them into doing it now as opposed to later when a gamble is not involved.

Not without massive quality loss. You are best off doing it in AE as Avid has not updated their DVE… well ever.

Adrenaline can’t play HD as funny as that sounds.
You can edit in low qiality mode and then export it to a tape as data if a glutten for punishment.
FCP handles it fine. So does premiere pro for that matter lol.I purchased adrenaline because it was advertised as being HDV native 3 years ago. To daye, it still is not.
This is why Avid is no longer the cream of the crop. They willingly passed that position down to apple. -

a black burst generator would have done ya better than a TBC (unless the levels are just too illegal for it to play).
You’ll need to hook it up to external sync unless it offers it’s own. -
