Many are submitting lonine now so there are interlace issues galore. I see it as people just don’t care much about how their tv ads look because they know people go pee, hit the fridge or tvo through em as they run. These same folks do take the time to correct this for their web advertising.

    2. Drive to where she is.
    3. Collect your money.
    4. Go to Chilis and eata bigass burger or some nachos.

    short answer… move.
I moved my family to five states in as many years at one point, just ladder-climbing. When you outgrow a market or hit a salary cap, you simply have to progress beyond those limitations.

Make sure he is in all the local wedding publications. Being his bride, really it’s as easy as offer home incentives. Positive reenforcement does wonders. I imagine the offering of a happy ending per booking will get a few bookings day one.
I’m not being sarcastic in the least here. Right now, he is probaly looking at all that gear with an occasional thought of losing it. That’s negative. Compairing it to religeon, say you have one religeon that threatens you with an enterity of hell fire, should you act on a God-given instict. Another one offers horny virgins in the after life should you resist. One motivator is simply more effective than the other. Tell him he’s cool but would be a lot cooler of he’d do some networking.

As long as you are rendering uncompressed I don’t think it’s you comps. Double check Avi’d import settings to ensure you are bringing them in uncompressed and not not resizing them upon import.

After you capture the cassette, you’ll set in and outs for each song and label. You can then export each one as a wav file then burn a cd as ya would normally.

after that, you can smack the person that handed you media from the 80s.

You’ll find mixing a lil glow with any transition makes it a whole new vibe. It also hides masking imperfections 😉
I also like to create quick snap zooms ala MTVisms. All depends on the flavor and personality of the peice. I never go into it with a plan.. I follow the vibe.

I like to mask out principals and properties and use them to reveal the incoming shot.

Certifications are for engineeers, not editors. Your reel is what will get you gigs, not a piece of paper of any kind.

Zach, take the gig, man. You need experience and they have a slot open. That’s a match, buddy. Don’t get hung up on the pay scale. You can work a second job if bills are the problem. We all did it. You need a foot in the door and that is what is being offered. Haggle for your own practice in negotiating but before ya leave, shake a hand and have a set time to report for work.
