I agree, the “work around” method that was sent out by Media100, is not very practical.

I have an HDe PPC system, and I’ve noticed that my audio is a bit crispy coming out as well. Granted I recently upgraded from 8.2.3, but the studio speakers and sound board are all good.

Another question along this line… when you’re exporting for web or dvd, do you use the export video with the video (16-235) option turned on? I’m using compressor 2 to go to dvd.

There is no 11.6 Universal updater option in the red 4.14 update.

I have a Media100 HDe, with the aja oem hardware. Red did not come with this version of media100, or perhaps our key did not unlock the red that came with it. Anyway, we purchased a full version of red, which we installed into 11.5.1 and it worked perfectly. When we upgraded to 11.6.2 for PPC, everything stopped working. We uninstalled everything Media100 and Red, and then installed the new version. Then we went through the install process for red to get up to 4.1.4. I had already tried removing the filters from the graphics folder and filters folder, leaving only the red 4.1 stuff. When you create a clip in the timeline and try to edit it, you get an error saying can’t find the composite suite bundle. Let me know if you can think of anything else.
