I have been working on this problem for 2 months on the Telestream side. They couldn’t come up with a solution. After I got rid of the Media100 black, the encodes all work! Thanks for the workaround!!

So far so good. Haven’t had any issues yet.

I had a lot of errors with the chassis in the mix under 8.2.3a. Most of my playback errors were happening because I was using the media100i codec with lossless turned on. When I stopped using lossless, the errors dropped considerably.

I just installed it, and it reports as 12.0.1. I’ll let you know how it functions.

The support site refers to 12.0.1, but the dmg file’s date still shows Oct 2nd. Is this the patched version?

Anyone know why Red is re-sizing logos?
I have a logo in psd format (275 x 220). When I import it into Red, it’s native size is reported correctly, but the imported size changes to 306 x 220. It gets significantly aliased. The preferences are set to import as square pixels, which theoretically shouldn’t change the aspect of the logo. As expected, when I change the preference to import as 4×3, it stretches even more. Can anyone shed some light on this, going into AE to drop in a logo is very irritating.Thanks.

I have spoken to Episode’s technical support. The problem is on their end. They plan on having it fixed in the next update, either in 4.4 or 4.4.1.
