Hi. If you go back to the beginning of the clip you will see that AE starts showing at 0 Frames not Frame 1, strange yet true – so the highlight is showing which frame you are actually viewing.

Hi. You could use text “full stops”/”periods” (.) along a path, then use the “tracking for selected characters” – the AV setting in the text’s character panel – to change the spacing between them.

Hi, yes you can do it more simply without using a camera. Place your images in 3D space then create a Null. Parent the image layers to the null, then you only need to move the null and all the images will move and stay relative to each other. You can also keyframe the individual image layers and they will work independently (ie they can scale,rotate, change angles, position etc. while the null is also moving).

Hi. You can use basic techniques to achieve this (scale, positioning and keyframed masks). You can then use the Venietian Blinds effect for those images which open in multiple panels. The main thing is working out what you want, where you want it and when.

Hi. I’m not clear exactly what you are doing but you need to key-frame the “Mask Path” if the mask moves or changes shape during the clip.
