Sorry, forgot to say to use the pen tool to create a mask the size you want after you add the Fractal Noise effect, then feather the mask.

Hi. There are a lot of ways of going about that sort of effect. A basic one would be to add the Fractal Noise effect to a solid: Fractal Type = Strings/keyframe the Evolution (then play with the other settings [contrast, scale etc]). Add the Tint Effect and change black to bright green. Precompose the solid then in the original composition key out the green (which will give you an alpha background) add Tint effect and change white to blue. Add the Glow Effect. As always playing with the effects settings can make a huge difference.

Hi. You might look at Bezier Warp effect. Go to the stop point and keyframe everything, then move back a few frames and make the arc you want it to travel, then keyframe the text position off to on. It will curve along the arc then flatten out. (That is presuming you don’t want to simply have the text follow a path.)

Hi. I’m unclear as to what you are trying – however you can import saved AE files into an open AE file.

Hi. Does it have anything to do with the layer being set to Screen mode?

Hi. You can use your image/text as a Layer Emitter – it’s mentioned in the Help files. Then you will need to render it out and time reverse the rendered file. I think that’s what your wanting.

Hi. From memory I think you need to be on the first frame(?).

Hi. You could get something similar by using the Venetian Blinds Transition effect to get the stripes, the Roughen Edges effect to break it up a bit. Duplicate the text, change the lower text to an aqua color then offset it slightly. Add an adjustment layer and use the Wave Warp effect on it to get the ripples (and the Bezier Warp effect for the loopy distortion towards the end).
