How to copy layer from 1 after effects to another
i tried it but then the one i pasted it to gives error mesage box and keeps coming up so i have to force close it from taskmanager.

Hi. I’m unclear as to what you are trying – however you can import saved AE files into an open AE file.

If you’re talking about copying from one running instance of Ae to a separate running instance of Ae [link] — you can’t do that. Greg’s tip about importing a project is right on.
