Hi, this may have been made using a 3D plugin such as Element 3D. Yes, it would be easier to do in a 3D Program – Element 3D is capable of it – though of course you need to learn how to use the program.
The general idea is that you use a video as the material which you apply to the front of the logo and perhaps also in the luminance channel.
I get the feeling that you are looking for an instant and easy way of doing this but I’m afraid I don’t know of any simpler way – perhaps someone else might?
Hi Julia, you might consider using text full-stops/periods as the dots then add a Tracking Animator to expand/contract them. You would need to keyframe the starting Position to your your object A, then keyframe rotation – could be worth experimenting with?
Hi Eftychia, you could create the paths (make sure they go off screen at the start and end) and then use the Vegas Effect – Stroke = mask path, Segments = 1, Length = 0.1?, then keyframe the Rotation.
Hi Chouse, I think you may be talking about a Track Matte. Make the logo white, add the image under it. You should see 3 drop down boxes next to the image layer heading (if you can’t, press the Toggle Switches/Modes box at the bottom of the layer panel) select the TrkMat box and set it to Luma Matte. The white parts will now show the image.
Hi Jorge, the bit depth setting is at the bottom of your Project Panel next to the trashcan , alt-click to cycle through or click on the number and a popup will appear.
Hi Harper, I’d suggest you could try making up the the face with green make-up (theatrical stores have green base), cover the rest of the head/hair with green cap. Cover a hand with white/silver goop and place it on the face – fiddle with it to make it look like you want. Make sure you have a clean plate of the background then key out the green.
