You would also need to de-activate your registration before un-installing, so that you can then activate the new version.

With P2 cards you have to import the files from the card into whatever edit suite you are using. The info can’t be transferred via firewire, as it’s recorded on the cards as a file.

When you close the LCD screen is it facing inwards? i.e. you musn’t be able to see the image.

You only get an image in the viewfinder when the side LCD screen is closed. If you want images in both simultaneously, you have to go into the menu and switch this on specifically.
