need help now!!!
ok i have a panasonic dvcproHD and it reads p2 cards…..i need to get the video off of the p2 card but i dont have a p2 reader…..i ahve a firewire cable i just dont know what to do from there
please help me

With P2 cards you have to import the files from the card into whatever edit suite you are using. The info can’t be transferred via firewire, as it’s recorded on the cards as a file.

You should go to wwww.panasonic.com/p2hd look under the resources link and download the workflow paper that is relative to the NLE you are working with. When you offload the cards, make sure that you keep the folder structure just as it is and the lastclip.txt file should stay with the folder as well.
And next time you post your should post in the HVX-HPX forum as those are P2 cameras and you will get more replies, faster.
