[Dave Osbun] “All the evidence you will need will be in your Windows Event Viewer.”
Does that give the Core Temp?

[John Rofrano] “Heat is a very likely cause as Graham said”
Travis do yourself a favour and get this FREE (or donate too!) CPU-Heat monitor “Core Temp”. I have it and I can confirm whatever is happening, vis a vis heat: https://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/
This way you can determine just how much heat your CPU is struggling with. If you STILL get a BSOD then there’s a need to look elsewhere – yes?

[Martin Seemungal] ” I view ‘codec information’ in vlc player it says: codec: MPEG-1/2 Video (mpgv)”
Well that IS very similar to my own MXF output of my Canon XF300.
Please download the very useful and free CODEC interrogators:
1] MediaInfo – https://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en
2] G-Spot – https://download.cnet.com/GSpot/3000-2248_4-10381198.html
You’ve raised this CODEC thing as a possible issue, let’s get that out of the way – yes?

Let’s get this one out of the way first: Open the PC and check ALL the airways, Inlet and Exhaust vents and Fans are free from dust, hair, fluff and so on.
Rendering is THE most CPU intensive function in what we do. The activity that the PC does during this process is to consume a lot of amps and outputs a lot of heat-wattage. Making sure the PC is able to keep a cool-head is essential. Therefore getting a BSOD while Rendering, is a major indication of an overheating CPU and all mechanical steps need to be taken to rectify. I know,…. I’ve had it!
Is your PC over-clocked? You may want to change that too.

OK….
[Martin Seemungal] “Although it is likely up scaled or converted from pal.”
I don’t understand? Either the original is one or the other? Please explain?
In any event, please say what your Project settings are? You’ve omitted this, and it will have a bearing on the results you are getting.

1] What are the specs of your original Media
2] What are your Project Settings?
3] What are you rendering to?
Let’s get the simple stuff outta the way first – yes?

Wow! – I agree this is becoming truly bizarre…..
You wouldn’t happen to have an FX on the actual Track, in the Track Header? A Shake type FX? Have got any Shake at the Media Level?
Interesting . . .

OK. Had you used a previous build? Was it any better?
[Pedro Soares] ” . . with a repeating event length, you mean a…looping video? “
No, the Text Event. Is the Text in a separate Event OR an FX as part of the Video?
[Pedro Soares] ” actually because i just did one text event or two and copy pasted them all the way through.”
Could be you have copied Keyframes too?
[Pedro Soares] “By text control you mean the generated media menu?”
Yes, correct.

Viewing the Text Control would help to eliminate this. Any chance if a Screen-grab of the Controls from you?
The next thing would be to view the sampling rates of the video. What Build of VP12 are you using?
